Ibotta Games Giveaway
As the lead designer for Ibotta’s 2021 Winter Games Giveaway on Instagram, I developed a cohesive visual system for a two-week social media sweepstakes. The goal was to highlight daily partner products through playful, branded storytelling and ensure inclusivity, seasonal relevance, and broad appeal.
Pink winter-themed promotional graphic for Ibotta’s 2021 Winter Games Giveaway. The image features a skiing cartoon bunny dressed in snow gear, holding ski poles, with "Ibotta Games" written on its sweater. Bold text above reads “Games Giveaway” in large white and pink lettering, set against a snowy backdrop with stylized trees.
I illustrated a cast of winter woodland animals engaging in Olympic-style sports. This approach avoided excluding users based on age, race, or gender, while reinforcing the winter theme with humor and charm. I designed each carousel post to feature the animal characters interacting with partner products in fun, surprising ways to add personality and narrative consistency across the campaign.
User Acquisition
I led the design and production of high-volume digital ad creatives aimed at driving user acquisition across platforms like Pinterest, mobile games, and display networks. Operating under tight deadlines, often delivering up to 40 unique placements within 48 hours, I managed the entire creative process: sourcing imagery, editing assets to align with Ibotta’s brand guidelines (including adjusting color schemes and removing competitor logos), and executing responsive layouts optimized for various ad formats.

Functioning as the primary liaison between the Creative and User Acquisition teams, I ensured that each asset met both performance objectives and brand standards. This role demanded a balance of speed, precision, and strategic thinking to produce compelling visuals that effectively engaged potential users.
Winter Personality Quiz
I led the illustration and visual design for Ibotta’s Winter Personality Quiz, an interactive email campaign aimed at engaging users during the holiday season. The quiz invited users to choose between various winter-themed activities and items in a "this or that" format, ultimately assigning them a winter personality type and directing them to personalized in-app offers.

With the guidance of an art director, I independently managed the visual development of the campaign. To ensure broad audience appeal and inclusivity, I created a series of charming snowman illustrations representing different winter personas. These characters added a playful and festive touch to the campaign, enhancing user engagement.

This project showcased my ability to translate strategic marketing objectives into compelling visual narratives, demonstrating skills in illustration, user engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Social Media
As part of Ibotta’s in-house creative team, I developed seasonal and culturally relevant social media illustrations to build brand awareness and reinforce emotional connection with our core demographic: U.S.-based moms and families looking to save money.

I conceptualized, illustrated, and produced each visual with a focus on storytelling, relatability, and brand voice. These pieces weren’t about pushing offers — they were about creating a brand personality users could connect with. From Valentine’s Day chocolate box tributes to PSL debates and back-to-school moments, each post was crafted to feel timely, warm, and visually distinct while staying aligned with Ibotta’s tone and visual identity.

This work contributed to making Ibotta’s Instagram a platform for indirect engagement: helping users see the brand as part of their day-to-day experience, not just a transactional tool.
