I completed a 400 hour post-graduation internship as part of the CWU Bachelor of Fine Arts program . For my internship, joined Central Washington University's office of Public Affairs graphic design team.
And shortly after my internship, I worked as a temp graphic designer for the CWU Publicity Center.

Projects from my time at Central Washington University span student events, academic programs, and outreach campaigns—each with its own distinct personality that celebrate CWU.
I created a full page illustration for the Publicity Center's annual report, featuring the lyrics of CWU's Fight Song. The design was ultimately used to print 100s of shirts for different housing departments across campus. Each color of shirt aligned to a specific house.
Originally I recreated the Central Wildcat logomark for the fight song. I had permission to update this into my sketch style to further match the hand-lettered piece. Above is the before and after transformation!
THE PUBLICITY CENTER:
Office of Academic Concerns & Dispute Resolution Brochure
Designed to make a sensitive topic feel clear and approachable, this brochure balances compassion with structure—communicating complex information in an inclusive, visually welcoming way, while staying true to CWU’s brand identity.
THE PUBLICITY CENTER:
Short Works Film Festival
Short Works is an annual theatre and film showcase presented by students at CWU. Inspired by the festival’s bite-sized, fast-moving format, I designed a hand-lettered poster system with playful, donut-inspired visuals to match the energy and variety of the performances. Each donut was hand-lettered and illustrated to reflect a specific short play title, creating a cohesive but quirky visual system.
PROJECT FOR OFFICE OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS:

Apparel, Textiles, & Management Program Retractable Banner
An entryway banner for CWU’s Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandising program, designed to echo the look and feel of fashion magazine covers while showcasing the program’s industry connections
