OVERVIEW:
Science Go Seek was a branded marketing campaign created in partnership with DoSomething and 3M to engage Gen Z audiences in STEM-related curiosity and discovery. By using interactive visuals inspired by the nostalgic I Spy books, the campaign aimed to make science feel approachable and fun, encouraging young people to explore STEM concepts through playful trivia and eye-catching design.
PROBLEM:
The goal was to spark curiosity around STEM by creating a campaign that felt both interactive and visually engaging, while aligning with a trivia-based strategy aimed at Gen Z audiences. The campaign needed to feel fun, inviting, and accessible, while also effectively promoting the partnership between DoSomething and 3M.
MY ROLE:
Brand Development
I designed cohesive branding guidelines including color palette, typography, logo design, and visual style. I established a unified look with a primary brand & supporting brand colors to create a vibrant, youthful aesthetic. I created the Science Go Seek logotype, emphasizing discovery by incorporating an outlined “SEEK” that allowed background visuals to peek through, suggesting exploration.
MY ROLE:
Visual Design
I developed a whimsical, surreal aesthetic using floating objects and playful compositions, drawing inspiration from the I Spy series to evoke curiosity. I created a variety of assets for different platforms, including email promotions, social media and OOH placements, and website heroes.
