ABOUT:
I collaborated with DoSomething, a nonprofit dedicated to championing young people to do good in the world. I led the visual execution of marketing campaigns that engaged young people to take action on the social causes they care most about. From social impact initiatives to brand partnerships with 3M, Timberland, and The Allstate Foundation, I created  designs for web, print, and merchandise that drove engagement and participation.
MY ROLE:
In addition to campaign work, I played a key role in the organization’s 2024-2025 brand refresh in collaboration with IDEO.org, developed interim brand guidelines, co-led usability testing, and spearheaded the creative direction for DoSomething’s 30-year anniversary Gala. This case study dives into my approach to designing impactful campaigns that inspired the next generation of changemakers.

Included is a selection of my work for DoSomething, showcasing branding, event design, and campaign materials aimed at empowering young people to create positive change.
SELECT PROGRAM:
Camp Reboot
Building community through creative mental health support
Camp Reboot was a mental wellness campaign designed to give young people tools to support their own mental health—and each other’s. The visual system was built to feel warm, tactile, and affirming, echoing the safe, creative energy of a summer camp. I designed key deliverables including social content, editorial art direction, a Spotify playlist cover, and email graphics to help bring the campaign to life across channels.

The program earned an Anthem Award in recognition of its impact, and gave thousands of participants access to mental health training, emotional skill-building, and community.
ABOVE & BELOW:
A selection of creative deliverables I designed for the campaign—including email graphics, a Spotify playlist cover, and editorial visuals for DoSomething.org and Instagram.
SELECT PROGRAM:
Show Up for What
A national voter-registration campaign
THE GOAL:
Engage the 41 million newly eligible Gen Z voters to use their voice and cast their ballot in the 2024 election
I led the visual direction for a multi-pronged, national voter registration campaign. I created all visual touchpoints including: merchandise, print work, and digital campaign assets for email and social media.

THE SOLUTION:
A bold, modern design system that made voting feel easy, exciting, and accessible
HIGHLIGHTED PROGRAM:
Uncensored
Expanding cultural awareness and celebrating diversity through banned books by LGBTQIA+ authors
ABOVE:
Uncensored is a campaign that empowers young people to push back against the censorship of queer stories. At a time when LGBTQIA+ books are among the most frequently banned, the campaign encourages young people to engage with queer narratives that affirm identity, build allyship, and inspire self-expression.

By submitting a reflection on these stories, participants were entered for the opportunity to earn a scholarship—celebrating Pride through both storytelling and action.

I developed a dynamic visual identity inspired by “explicit content” labels found on banned albums—reclaiming the aesthetic of censorship and flipping it into a badge of pride. The animated logo and loud graphic treatments were meant to signal disruption, self-expression, and unapologetic visibility across social and editorial content.
Designed to be shared, scrolled, and screenshotted—these visuals drove campaign engagement across Instagram and TikTok.
I created this series of animated stickers to capture the spirit of DoSomething's cause-based work—each one reflecting a value, moment, or cultural reference point important to our members. Originally shared via Giphy, they were later adapted into promotional merch including pins and embroidered hats.
